On 18 October, it's "Lights, Camera, Double the ACTion!"

Hollywood is coming to The Children's Hospital at Westmead for our biggest fundraising event of the year – Radiothon 2019.

On Friday 18 October, Radiothon will broadcast on-air with smoothfm and live with 7NEWS to raise vital funds for lifesaving equipment, childhood disease research and services to patients and families.

For 24 hours only every donation made between 6 pm, Thursday 17 October and 6 pm, Friday 18 October will be doubled by generous matchers. Every contribution – no matter how big or small – will be doubled.

The 24-hour appeal will see the Hospital transform into a Hollywood set, including a variety of entertainment and a Westmead Walk of Fame.

There will be acts on the Main Stage, including a special performance from the brilliant cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash-hit musical, SCHOOL OF ROCK. Celebrity stars from smoothfm and 7NEWS will also be part of the glitz and glamour on the day.

Join us for “Lights, Camera and Double the ACTion” as we aim to raise $4 million dollars for sick kids.

Our Radiothon Ambassadors

Every patient and family who walks through the doors of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead has their own story.

Every dollar you give during our Radiothon appeal will go towards sick kids like our Radiothon 2019 ambassadors Hamish, Leni and Maddox. Watch the videos below to learn more about their journeys.
